If you’ve got some time you want to waste today, I’d suggest wandering over to TicketStubCollection.com, which describes itself as “The world’s largest free ticket-stub collection.” I was turned on to the site thanks to a recent ESPN article by Paul Lukas on The art of the ticket stub - which seems to be a bit of a lost art, thanks to the rise of the generic computer print-out, with some sports teams, like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, abandoning season tickets altogether, in favor of passes.

↵I wish I’d kept some of my ticket stubs - the first baseball game I ever attended, in 1998, for instance. I still have a couple of baseball game tickets floating about somewhere, but have never been fortunate enough to see a contest historic enough to be worthy of full preservation e.g. no-hitter or World Series game. Mind you, some of the most poignant examples of such things are when clubs printed tickets for games that never happened - such as the ones below, for the 1998 World Series between the Cubs and the American League Champions...
