Colt McCoy Lining Up Pre-Draft Visits With Browns, Bills
Several teams in the top ten of the draft are reportedly seeking a pre-draft visit with him.
The Bills are one of those teams and SB Nation's Buffalo Rumblings breaks down McCoy.
One of the most decorated winners in college football history, McCoy is a four-year starter that helped guide the Longhorns to a 45-8 record over the past four years after taking over the starting job from Vince Young as a redshirt freshman. The 6'1", 216-pound McCoy is regarded as a second- or third-round talent, though scouts are worried not just about his playing abilities, but about a pinched nerve in his throwing shoulder that he suffered in January's BCS National Championship Game.
The Browns are the latest team to set up a visit with McCoy, according to ESPN's James Walker.
The visits overlap a bit as the Bills will be meeting with him on April 11th-12th and the Browns will see him after his visit on the 12th and into the 13th.
Both teams pick in the top ten of the first round which means they’re also in the top ten of the second round. McCoy is likely an option with either club’s second round pick.
