Autistic 17-Year-Old Reportedly Has Perfect Bracket

↵NBCChicago has the incredible story of an autistic teen who just so happens to have picked the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament perfectly, according to his family. (You can view his bracket here.)↵↵There’s no great secret. He says all the things you’d say if you were perfect so far. Alex Herrmann says he pays attention to the players and the stats and all the things he sees on TV. Autistic or not, having a perfect bracket after the first weekend -- particularly one as bizarre as the one we just witnessed -- is incredible.↵

↵↵The rest of his bracket is no less daring than what got him here. The big surprise is Tennessee to the Final Four and Purdue winning the title despite Robbie Hummel’s injury. I can’t imagine there’s a high percentage of people that predicted those two outcomes.↵

↵↵Maybe I’m just this cold and jaded, but I really hope this isn’t a hoax. NBC Chicago notes that CBS has not returned calls to confirm the perfect entry to this point. Here’s hoping it’s real, because it’s a great story.↵
