New York, NY (Sports Network) - Toney Douglas hit a huge jumper in the final minute and scored nine of his 16 points in the final quarter, helping the Knicks to a 109-104 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Danilo Gallinari scored 28 points for New York, which bounced back from a four-point home loss to Houston on Sunday. Al Harrington logged 23 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while David Lee added 12 points and 16 boards.
Carmelo Anthony scored 36 to lead the Nuggets, who have lost two in a row after winning eight of nine. Chauncey Billups ended with 25 points and six assists in defeat.
J.R. Smith hit a three-pointer, drawing Denver within 105-104 with 1:21 remaining, but the Nuggets failed to go ahead following a steal by Nene as Harrington lost the ball on the right baseline.
Anthony missed an off-balance shot in the lane, and following a New York timeout, Douglas nailed a shot from the right wing for a three-point advantage with 27.8 on the clock.
Anthony couldn’t capitalize on a drive to the hoop and Gallinari made two foul shots with 18.1 seconds left to help New York snap a four-game skid against the Nuggets.
It was an awful start for the Knicks, who gave up the first 12 points of the game, but they managed to cut the deficit to 27-26 after one quarter.
Harrington's layup with 6:50 left in the second provided the Knicks with a 37-31 edge, but Denver gained a 53-49 halftime lead thanks to Arron Afflalo's three-pointer at the end of the second quarter.
It was a back-and-forth third quarter, but the Knicks scored the final 11 of the period, helped by a pair of three-balls from Gallinari and one from Harrington for an 83-74 margin for the hosts moving to the fourth.
