Sprint All-Star Fan Voting Opens

Let the campaigning begin.

↵NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race fan voting is now open (see link here), and some big-name drivers may miss the All-Star race in May without some help from their fans.

↵One driver who isn’t eligible for the race will make it based on the highest number of fan votes.

↵Seven former Chase drivers are on the outside looking in, including Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Greg Biffle, Jeff Burton, Juan Pablo Montoya, Martin Truex Jr. and Elliott Sadler.

↵Kasey Kahne won the fan vote two years ago and went on to win the race, so it actually can have a major impact on the outcome (Joey Logano won last year).

↵Sprint opened the fan voting earlier than normal this year.
