If McNabb had a say in what team he gets traded to, it’d be the Vikings, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Vikings Reportedly McNabb’s First Choice
After Andy Reid announced Wednesday that the Eagles were “entertaining offers” for all three of their quarterbacks, McNabb reiterated that he wants to remain in Philadelphia. But if the team were to ship its franchise quarterback elsewhere, the Vikings would be his first choice, according to sources close to the situation.
There are a few issues with this.
First, Brett Favre sounds like he’ll return (I know, way too early to tell).
Second, Favre likely won’t make his decision until after the draft. The Eagles are more likely to trade him before the April 22nd draft.
Third, the Eagles are reportedly looking for at least a high second round pick for McNabb. The Vikings can only offer a late first rounder, which seems unlikely.
