If he doesn’t make the team, the veteran starter will likely refuse minor league assignment go to Japan, where he is likely to earn a much higher salary.

Braves: Deunte Heath, the Braves minor-leaguer who tried to buy sex on craigslist has been suspended indefinitely by the team...Derek Lowe said he is ready for Opening Day. Not sure why he wouldn’t be.
