Minor League Hockey Coach Jim Playfair Gets a Bit Heated

↵↵I could probably say that I sincerely believe that the miscarriage of justice Abbotsford Heat coach Jim Playfair gets fired up about in the above video should be corrected. But that would imply 1) that I think going this nuts about an AHL game is right, or 2) that I’m feigning enough hockey knowledge to understand whether Playfair has a point.↵

↵↵Look, let’s be honest: This video exists as manna from heaven for anyone who ever wanted to see a hockey coach lose his mind -- and his jacket, which gets discarded faster than I think I’ve ever seen a jacket shed -- in one moment of madness. Half of the bloggers on the Internet will post it in the coming few days. Maybe a tenth of those folks will try to work irony into their post, playing off Playfair’s name. (I’m not nearly that good, though I did embed the video to start after the Nickelback-blaring intro.) And it’ll be Around the Horn fodder on Monday.↵
