↵With a ring entrance that is equal parts WWE and Comic-Con, Japanese kickboxer Nagashima “Jienotsu” Yuichiro doesn’t exactly cut an imposing figure. But then who cares if he can destroy you in the ring. Billed as the “Cosplay Fighter” (for the uninitiated, short for “costume play”), Yuichiro has made his entrance dressed as characters from the video game series Touhou Project. Bizzare? Perhaps. But also effective, as the fighter won all three matches in a one-day competition for the right to represent Japan at K-1 World MAX Championship tournament.
