Darlington Raceway’s Sprint Cup Series event has a new name.
It’s “Showtime” At Darlington
↵The Darlington race will be known as the Showtime Southern 500 – “Showtime” as in the premium cable network that has a weekly Inside NASCAR show.
↵This isn’t the first time the Southern 500 has had a sponsor name (it was known as the “Mountain Dew Southern 500” for several years). Last year, when the “Southern 500” name returned to NASCAR, it was known as the Southern 500 “presented by GoDaddy.com.”
