Once upon a time, there was a great player named Kevin Garnett. He was a fierce competitor that inspired his teams to new heights on both ends of the floor. But then, Garnett had knee surgery and turned into a parody of himself.
The new Kevin Garnett is sad to watch. In case that wasn’t clear, it became clear last night. Garnett went 0-7 from the field against the Wizards, failing to hit a single field goal for the first time since January of 1996, his rookie year. This, mind you, was against the Wizards’ imposing front line of Andray Blatche, JaVale McGee and James Singleton.

CelticsBlog: Deja-Vu Averted
For 3 and a half quarters, Sunday’s Celtics-Wizards game had the look and feel of the game Boston lost to the Celtics last week. Then the Celtics somehow turned a 13 point deficit (with just 6 minutes left) into a win. CelticsBlog didn’t like how it started but they liked how it all ended.
