Alex Ovechkin has been in a bit of a slump lately. He hadn’t scored a goal in six games. Enough was enough. Alex decided a change was needed. That change would be his hairstyle. And he only trusted one person to do the job right. According to Versus’s Charissa Thompson, it’s his Mom.

↵↵“You know, usually he sports that very shaggy hairdo, but today he’s a little bit more cleaned up, courtesy of his mother. That’s right you guys, his mom gave him that haircut. And not that that guy needs to worry about saving money, but hey, can’t beat the price. It’s free, and obviously it worked.”
↵↵It worked indeed. Alex scored two goals in Monday night’s game against Dallas. Now if only Mama Ovechkin can get to every other Capital’s hair ASAP since they still lost the game.
