Terry Etim was hyped very highly by the broadcast coming into his bout with talented jiu-jitsu fighter Rafael Dos Anjos. In the end though, it was Dos Anjos finding a way to constantly be in dominant position before moving to north-south choke and transitioning from a kimura to an armbar. Once the armbar was locked up Etim had no choice but to tap.The same end may have came in the first round but when Dos Anjos was able to get side control he tried to throw knees to the body. The ref then warned him to not elbow to the spine so Dos Anjos threw another knee to the side and the ref stood them up saying he already warned about knees to the spine. It was poor reffing and took away dominant position from a ground fighter.
