And make no mistake: it’s at least partially a message to Ben Roethlisberger. Holmes was his favorite target, coming off a career year, and they gave him away for pennies on the dollar. That’s not to say Roethlisberger’s next, but it’s a sure sign that the ownership’s not afraid to trade troubled talent, even if it means sacrificing value and trading away their star quarterback’s favorite target. ...
