Ted Ginn, Jr. Traded To 49ers; Miami Fans Can Officially Forget This Ever Happened

Ted Ginn, Jr. has been traded from the Dolphins to the 49ers, according to Jay Glazer. The move comes just days after the team acquired Brandon Marshall, making Ginn expendable. The details on what Miami received in return are not yet available.

The move ends Ginn’s disappointing three-year tenure in Miami, which started with the Dolphins inexplicably drafting him ninth overall when most pundits had him as a late first rounder, at best. His play on the field never justified such a high pick -- he caught 128 passes over three years and had three return touchdowns.
