Sprint Cup Race Still Delayed In Texas

Everything is wetter in Texas.

The start of NASCAR’s 800-mile day has been delayed by rain at Texas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR postponed driver introductions for the Sprint Cup race (which was supposed to begin at 3 p.m. EDT), and the prospects of running the Cup race and the Nationwide race are not looking great.

Saturday’s Nationwide Series race was postponed to 9 p.m. EDT tonight, but there’s almost no chance of that race running tonight now that the Sprint Cup race has been delayed.

Check back for further updates, but with the lingering misty drizzle at the track, NASCAR might not get any cars on the track today at all.
