Bobcats’ Stephen Jackson Has Bone Bruise, Injury Likely Won’t Sideline Him
Jackson’s presence figures to be key for the at-times offensively-challenged Bobcats, who are going up against the league’s second-best defense in the Magic, anchored by likely Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard. As SB Nation’s Rufus on Fire notes, the team should feel good about the fact that Jackson was able to play much of the second half, despite his gimpy knee, while putting up 18 points (albeit on 18 shots).
Jackson will have until Wednesday to recuperate, when the Bobcats and Magic square off in Game 2, at 7PM.
