Ohio State’s Evan Turner Named AP Player Of The Year
Turner guided the Buckeyes to a share of the Big Ten regular season title, as well as the Big Ten tournament championship, and a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. Turner sat out six games in December and early January after breaking bones in his back after a scary fall on a dunk in a game against Eastern Michigan.
Turner returned weeks earlier than expected, leading Thad Matta’s squad back atop the Big Ten standings.
