The 2009-10 NBA Playoff Race: Where Something Happens, Probably

Here’s a look at the five most recent NBA seasons:

↵2009-10: 1 team out of playoff picture but within 5 games of 8-seed (with 8 games left to play)
2008-9: 5 teams
2007-8: 5 teams
2006-7: 4 teams
2005-6: 3 teams

↵So relatively speaking, the 2009-10 NBA playoff race is unremarkable: Chicago is the only team out of the playoff picture with a real chance of finding its way in. Aside from that, all we have is 16 teams jostling for a lower playoff seed. CAN YOU HANDLE THE JOSTLING?!?!?
