How Many Polish Jokes Before Matt Millen Has To Apologize? One.

Earlier on Saturday, we questioned why Matt Millen was on our television, involved in the 2010 NFL Draft in any sort of fashion, other than maybe to apologize to Lions fans. After today, ESPN may be wondering the same.

↵During the coverage, Millen referred to Ron Jaworski (who was nicknamed “The Polish Rifle” in college) as a “Polack.” Shortly thereafter, Millen was apologizing for calling Jaws a “Polack.”

↵↵“Earlier in the telecast I made a humorous remark to Ron Jaworski that could have been misconstrued to people of Polish decent, and I want to apologize ... I’ve enjoyed a great relationship with Ron Jaworski, very playful over the years and we jab each other back and forth and that has absolutely nothing to do with my comments towards Ron or anybody of Polish decent, so I apologize. I meant nothing by it.”

↵↵Matt Millen, everyone.
