2010 NFL Draft: Levi Brown From Troy Creates Interesting QB Battle For Bills

The Bills are currently sporting the intimidating trio of Trent Edwards, Brian Brohm and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Now we can add one more name to the list: Troy QB Levi Brown, who the Bills selected in the 7th round.

Brown will have a severe learning curve heading to the NFL, as he worked out of a spread offense at Troy. He’s got to learn how to operate from under center, and reading defenses will be an early issue for him, but scouts like his arm strength and accuracy, and his anticipation and football smarts are considered a strong asset for him as well.

If there’s one person that can get the most out of an unconventional quarterback, it’s Chan Gailey, who happens to coach the Bills.

In 2008 as the Chiefs offensive coordinator, Gailey made Tyler Thigpen look like a NFL quarterback.
