Down In Front, Radio Guy: Celtics Announcer Gets Doused for Standing

Of all the indignities that could befall a basketball fan in Miami, one would think being blocked from watching the Heat go down 3-0 might not be the worst. But Celtics play-by-play announcer Sean Grande blocked one Miami fan throughout the game by standing, and after the Paul Pierce buzzer-beater, he paid for it by becoming a target for artificial precipitation.Boston Globe writer Gary Washburn tweeted the play-by-play of the one-sided fan-on-Grande fight. It started fairly innocuously.

And he continues broadcast.Frankly, despite a contentious game that was capped by a buzzer-beater, it sounds like the compelling conflict in Miami last night might actually have been between Grande and the fan.
