Cheick Kongo Rumored To Face Roy Nelson At UFC 116
Cheick Kongo has been added to the card for UFC 116 for a match with an as-yet unnamed heavyweight, Fighters Only has learned. One name that has been linked with the match is Roy Nelson, who is coming off a win over Stefan Struve last month.
This would be a very interesting fight as unlike Struve, Kongo knows how to use his size to keep people away from him. Kongo’s kickboxing game is violent and his wrestling is improving quickly.
Everything comes down to if Nelson is able to lock up Kongo and get him to the ground to impose his much better submission game.
