Celtics Blog: Boston Was Beat By Miami Dwyane Wades

In Sunday’s loss to the Heat, Boston twice rallied from deficits greater than 16 points, but in the end, the Celtics just couldn’t compete the comeback as Miami held on for the 101-92 win, extending the series at least one more game. So what was the Heat’s not-so-secret secret to the win? Dwyane Wade. As our CelticsBlog writes, “... it was possible that Wade could win a game all by himself and today, that’s pretty much what happened.”

  • Celtics took their own lead in the 3rd, but that's when Wade took over.
  • Wade just would not be denied, knocking down several 3's, singlehandedly pushing them to an 11 point 4th quarter lead.
  • Wade's final tally: 46 points, 5 reb., 5 assists, 2 steals
  • But hand this one to the Wade. It was all him. Hats off to him.
