Brad Hawpe’s Injury Lands Him On 15-Day Disabled List
Early this morning, Eric Young Jr. tweeted that he had been promoted to the big club from AAA Colorado Springs. The suspected corresponding move would be the transferral of outfielder Brad Hawpe to the 15-day disabled list. Troy Renck has confirmed the likely transaction and the Young is at currently at the ballpark.
MLB.com has confirmed Brad Hawpe’s trip to the 15-day DL. Certainly a major blow for the Rockies, as Hawpe has managed a remarkable 1.157 OPS through his first 15 games of the 2010 campaign.
