Local media outlets have been muttering in this direction all day, and the sports director of the University of Georgia's radio station just said it outright: Quarterback Logan Gray is outta there.
It's been just over a week since co-depth chart frontrunner Zach Mettenberger was dismissed from the team, and as Gray has since been unable to surmount remaining redshirt freshman phenom Aaron Murray, he's presumably decided to take his fair-caught ball and go home. For the moment, Murray stands alone at the position, awaiting the arrival of rising true freshman Hutson Mason.
