Dominic Moore Stuns Capitals; Gives Canadiens 2-1 Lead Late In Third
Montreal’s Dominic Moore gave the Capitals a 2-0 lead as he put in a rebound against goaltender Simeon Varlamov and gave the Canadiens hope with roughly three minutes left in the third period. The Capitals quickly added a goal from Brooks Laich to cut the deficit to one.
The Capitals are outshooting the Canadiens 40-16 and are heading to the powerplay at the time of writing.
