Zack Follett Supplies Upcoming Opponents With Feminine Care Products

↵The Detroit Lions have been an incredible font of amusing quotes in the week since the NFL Draft. First, there was the uneasy aside made by head coach Jim Schwartz that, while others might use adult videos to get aroused, he does just fine with YouTube clips of Jahvid Best football highlights. Now linebacker Zack Follett is working to make sure the Lions are getting attention for matters other than putting together what looks to be a second consecutive draft that wasn’t driven by baffling incompetence.↵↵With Ernie Sims having been dealt to the Eagles prior to the draft, Follett’s role will likely be greatly expanded this coming season. In a video to show how he’s preparing, Follett donned his helmet, a ratty South Park T-shirt from 1997 (I had the same one!), shorts and and a pair of tube socks then went to the local CVS to pick out tampons and Barbie Band-Aids for the Lions 2010 opponents. The joke is decidedly juvenile, but Follett displays enough goofy energy to keep it from being obnoxious. Of course, it’s easy to talk tough when you now have Ndamukong Suh playing in front of you.↵
