So, Drew Brees’ life really couldn’t be any more storybook at this point. Overlooked out of high school, he went on to a record-setting career at Purdue. Overlooked coming into the NFL, he’s graduated to the ranks of the NFL’s elite, turning in an MVP-caliber season last year, and ultimately leading the Saints to a shocking Super Bowl victory over the man that beat him out for that award, Peyton Manning.

↵He played football, basketball, and baseball in high school, and in fact, he once figured his best shot at a pro career was on the diamond:
↵↵“Baseball was really the sport I thought I had the best opportunity of playing at the next level, ” Brees said. “I wanted to be a three-sport athlete in college: baseball, basketball and football.”
↵↵He’s also well-known among Saints teammates for his exploits on the basketball court, was a top tennis player as a teen, and has a 3-handicap on the golf course. So basically, he’s better than you. At everything.
↵At least he’s got that birthmark to keep him humble... (Like women don’t totally love that).
