↵Ask yourself: how often do you see a premier athlete botch it and believe, earnestly, that you could have stood up, taken his place, and done better? Speaking personally, these moments don’t come often, but I bet we could have stepped in for Brant Brown and caught that fly ball. We could have taken Leon Lett’s place and refrained from touching that blocked field goal. And we could have made this putt.

↵Forget for a moment that most of us could never have shot well enough from the tee to even make that par putt a possibility. Let’s narrow the focus. This is a rare, and therefore valuable, sports moment: I could have done that. You could have done that. Enjoy these moments when they present themselves.
