2010 Quail Hollow Tournament, Round 2 Results: Mayfair Leads, Hayes Rockets Ahead

In the second round of the 2010 Quail Hollow Tournament, Billy Mayfair took sole possession of the lead. The 43-year-old shot 4-under to match his 4-under in the first round.

One stroke behind him at 7-under for the tournament is Angel Cabrera. An eagle on the seventh hole contributed to a 5-under for the round.

Cabrera’s partner was Tiger Woods, whose Round 2 couldn’t have been much more different. Woods double-bogeyed the 14th and 15th holes, which helped add up to a 79 for the round. Woods has missed a tournament cut for the sixth time ever.

J.P. Hayes played the best golf of the day. His 8-under score for the round -- nine birdies and one bogey -- has vaulted him into a tie for third place entering Round 3.
