Rusty Wallace Running For Congress? Uh...

Rusty Wallace has entered a race.

↵Only this is a different Rusty Wallace, and the race has nothing to do with NASCAR.

↵Confused?
So might some of the voters in Missouri’s Third Congressional District when it comes to election time this year. A CAD technician named Rusty Wallace – not the driver – has entered the congressional race as a Republican.

↵Since the hometown of NASCAR legend Wallace is near the Third District, no doubt some voters may see “Rusty Wallace” on the ballot and mistakenly think the former driver has decided to get into politics.

↵Alas, that’s not the case. The real Rusty Wallace still plans on staying busy working for ESPN and fielding cars for Rusty Wallace Racing in the Nationwide Series so that his son Steve can wreck them.
