Darryl “Truck” Bryant was unable to play in the Mountaineers’ final three NCAA Tournament games, including the Final Four, due to a fractured foot. Wednesday he got surgery to repair the injury and a good prognosis on his return next season.
Truck Bryant Has Successful Surgery On Fractured Foot
WVU basketball spokesman Bryan Messerly says the surgery was performed Wednesday on Bryant’s fifth metatarsal at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Randy Meador, WVU’s coordinator of athletic training services, says Bryant’s recovery time will be two to three months.
