Butler coach Brad Stevens began the post-Final Four talk show circuit on Tuesday, which included a stop with David Letterman via satellite. You can watch his appearance below:↵

Brad Stevens Joins Letterman, Gets Offered a New Job

↵Now in (half) Letterman style, the top bits from the interview in list fashion:↵↵4. “I’m too young to take your bait.” (Stevens not biting on a comment Letterman made about Michigan State coach Tom Izzo and his prediction of a blowout win by Duke.)↵
↵↵3. “Go get yourself some chocolate milk coach.” (Letterman closing up the interview.)↵
↵↵2. “Just don’t let him do that. Coach I don’t know if you know this, but in the NBA, they’ve got guns in the locker room.” (Letterman advising Stevens on Gordon Hayward possibly going pro.)↵
↵↵1. “I’ll give you a year of my pay ...↵

↵
↵↵... if you take the head coaching job at Ball State.” (Letterman trying to steal away the Butler coach. Stevens played it off nicely, talking up the BSU coach.)↵
↵↵I’d give Stevens a B- on his appearance. Said all the right things, but he’s got to loosen up a bit. Well, maybe he’s right to keep it close to the vest and not say anything too stupid or brash until Butler lights his old contract on fire and gives him something with an extra zero at the end of his salary.↵
