Wherein Donovan McNabb’s Dad Compares Him To Jesus

Donovan McNabb was traded to the Redskins on Sunday. Easter was on Sunday. Naturally, you can then understand how easy it is to draw a straight line from the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the resurrection of McNabb’s career due to the trade. His father certainly put two and two together quite easily.

↵

"Absolutely, it meant something," Sam McNabb said of the trade's timing, amid the buzz Tuesday at Redskin Park as his son, Donovan, was introduced as D.C.'s new QB.

↵

"We were celebrating Jesus' resurrection, right? Then we turn around and Donovan gets resurrected. Just perfect."

↵

↵

Another way that Donovan McNabb and Jesus are similar...next time either of them are in Philadelphia they'll probably get booed.
