Two top fighters who will be featured on the June card are former middleweight champion Cung Le and current women’s 145-pound champion Cris “Cyborg” Santos.

The main event for the June show is still up in the air as top heavyweight fighter Fedor Emelianenko is on the outside looking in, waiting for contract negotiations between his representatives at M-1 Global and Strikeforce to come to a close. If a deal is reached, Fedor is expected to face Fabricio Werdum in the top fight on that card.
Cris Cyborg And Cung Le Added To June Strikeforce Event
Scott Coker said that he does not believe Cyborg will be facing Erin Toughill as previously rumored. WIthout facing Toughill I’m not sure what legitimate challenges there are out there for Santos. This, of course, is the big problem with female MMA in general. There just aren’t enough challengers for a fighter like Cyborg to keep things fresh and interesting.
As for Cung Le, it appears that he will either rematch Scott Smith or Frank Shamrock. Le defeated Shamrock in 2008 to win the Strikeforce middleweight crown which he then vacated. This past year Scott Smith was getting pummeled by Le before a dramatic comeback knockout.
