In 2008, Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a shot at winning at Richmond until Kyle Busch wrecked him with three laps to go. It was one of the most memorable Richmond races in recent years (Clint Bowyer ultimately won) because of the ensuing controversy, and the crowd that night turned completely hostile toward Busch after the wreck.
Head-To-Head: Who Finishes Higher Tonight At Richmond?
↵Asked if he still thinks about the incident with Busch when he comes to Richmond, Earnhardt Jr. smiled and said, “No, not really. I think about running like crap the last couple of times we have run here and what we need to do to get to running back like that.”
↵Will Earnhardt Jr. not “run like crap” tonight and out-drive Busch, who is on the pole?
↵UPDATE: Busch won the race and Earnhardt Jr. finished 32nd, meaning the majority who voted in this poll got it wrong.
