Weather issues remain the largest issue concerning the 136th Kentucky Derby. The post time is still scheduled for 6:28 P.M. Eastern, though it’s possible that rain may push back the proceedings. SB Nation’s horse racing blog, And Down The Stretch They Come, offers a look at how some of Saturday’s horses have performed in off conditions:
How The Kentucky Derby’s Horses Have Performed In Poor Conditions
Super Saver - 1st, Maiden Special Weight at Belmont (9/11/09, track "Sloppy/Sealed")
Stately Victor - 2nd, Maiden Special Weight at Saratoga (8/22/09, track "Good")
