Paddy O’Prado Shows In 136th Kentucky Derby

Paddy O’Prado held off Devil May Care on Saturday to secure a third-place finish in the 2010 Kentucky Derby.

The horse started the day with 11-1 odds, ensuring that no horse in the winner’s circle was a major surprise.

Here’s what our horse racing blog, And Down The Stretch They Come, had to say about Paddy O’Prado before the race:

Paddy O’Prado: Another colt that has spent most of his career racing on grass prior to his attempt at the Derby. He hasn’t run on dirt since last July is a mystery as to what he’ll do on Saturday. Paddy is trained by local Louisville trainer Dale Romans.

Check out the rest of this StoryStream for more on the Derby.
