New Seahawk/Ex-Titan running back LenDale White, as quoted in Peter King’s MMQB today:
LenDale While Says Titans Struggled Because They Didn’t Use Enough LenDale White
↵↵“I think what happened was in Tennessee they probably got a little too carried away with the Chris Johnson thing. The year before that we were 13-3 when I had 200 carries and we split the rock. Chris went to the Pro Bowl and we had the first-round bye, they did things different the next year and we struggled to make the playoffs. It is what it is.”

“The Chris Johnson thing.” You know, only the best running back in the NFL. Pretty sure making him a larger part of the gameplan than LenDale White is never a bad idea.
↵But beyond that thing, Football Outsiders breaks out statistics to put White in his place:
↵↵White was actually more involved in the gameplan when the Titans started 0-6 (39 carries, 148 yards) then he was when the team went 8-2 after the bye (25 carries, 74 yards). Not to mention the fact that the Titans were 2-1 in the games where White didn’t even play.
