Boucher Out ‘Several Weeks,’ Will Undergo MRI ON Tuesday

It didn’t look good when it happened and it’s not good now. According to Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, Brian Boucher’s season could be over. Here’s John Boruk of CSN Philly, relaying the news via Twitter:

Paul Holmgren said Brian Boucher hurt both knees and will be out for several weeks.

It’s reportedly a strain in both knees, but the extent of the damage isn’t known at this point. In a television interview, Boucher was standing, but he said he was in pain and that most of all, he was just disappointed in the turn of events. He’ll undergo an MRI on Tuesday morning back in the Philadelphia area.
