Brian Scalabrine Garners Even Less Respect Than You’d Imagine
↵
↵Because he’s a red-haired mediocre white guy playing for the Celtics, it’s easy to poke fun at Brian Scalabrine. Nothing wrong with that. No one ever said low-hanging fruit couldn’t be tasty. Especially when the comedy tree bears such delights as Scalabrine, who has yet to see action during the playoffs, getting completely ignored by teammates Glen Davis and Tony Allen just as the first half expired during Game 4 of the Celtics-Cavs series yesterday.↵↵In the video, Scalabrine bravely tries to save face after the snub with an enthusiastic clap of the hands. He’s rarin’ to get into the locker room, where the towel boy will refuse to meet his gaze. Maybe later he’ll get home, only to see his dog run away as soon as he opens the front door. He’ll phone his mom to complain, but she screens her calls and it goes straight to voicemail. Brian Scalabrine will then shed a single tear.↵
