United States’ 2010 World Cup Provisional Squad: Davies Omitted From Team
United States Soccer has named their provisional squad for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, with forward Charlie Davies left off the team.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl, Davies was in consideration for the provisional squad until yesterday, but when Davies’ club failed to clear the player, U.S. Soccer decided against bringing him into the national team camp.
