Jimmy Rollins Has Started Running, Could Be Activated Next Week

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins is working his way back to the big club after being put on the disabled list with a calf strain:

Also notable today: Assistant GM Scott Proefrock said Jimmy Rollins has began running in Clearwater and could see action in games in extended spring training in the next couple days.
There’s a decent chance that Rollins could be activated during next week’s homestand.

Rollins played just seven games before hitting the disabled list. Prior to the injury, Rollins was hitting .391 on the young season. The Phillies would love to get him back in the lineup as Juan Castro (.258/.271/.303) hasn’t proven to be the most suitable replacement.
