VIDEO: Nate Robinson Picked The Wrong Team Huddle To Ignore

There are many characteristics one could use to describe Nate Robinson, but “attentive” is not one of them. I could go through all the dumb on-court things he’s done in his NBA career (like this), or you could just take my word for it.

↵Put it this way: if you had to pick one player left in the playoffs to not participate in his team’s huddle, you would probably pick Robinson. (And that’s before considering the fact that the Celtics cost him a $1 million roster bonus by benching him at the end of the season).

↵So I’m not exactly surprised to see this video of Robinson not paying attention to Doc Rivers during a timeout in Game 5 of the Celtics-Cavaliers series. That said ... well just watch the video.

↵

↵Yup, that’s six “togethers” from Rivers to his team in the span of 18 seconds. Meanwhile, Nate Robinson is talking to some random staffer outside the huddle. The irony is impossible to ignore.

↵I’m guessing Robinson was trying to teach that guy what #wordaapp means. Maybe he can teach me too.
