Leonard Davis Is a Big Softie, Assists Ducklings Out of Sand Trap
↵
↵When you’ve had to play for years on the same offensive line with the cheap-shot happy Flozell Adams, just by the mere complicity of association you have to make a few token nice gestures to make yourself appear not despicable. As nice gestures go, there are few less certain to earn a chorus of “awwwwww” than helping a pack of ducklings get back to their mother. So at the very least, we must commend Dallas Cowboys guard Leonard Davis in his choice of benevolent act.↵↵Davis on Wednesday happened upon the ducklings in a sand bunker at the 11th hole of the Cowboys annual Sponsor Appreciation Golf Tournament. While the mother duck was able to get out of the trap on her own, the ducklings found themselves unable to scale the incline leading out of the sand. Enter Davis, who gently lifted the stranded ducklings onto the fairway, where they scampered back to mom. Apparently, Davis is quite the lover of animals, as he also once aided a horse stuck in the mud by pulling it out with a tractor.↵
↵↵So if you’re looking for a fast and easy way to get out of seeing a screening of the gushfest that is “Babies” with a mother, wife or girlfriend, just send them this clip and see if that satiates the cuteness fix.↵
