His striking may not be a thing of beauty but Roger Gracie finally got the fight to the ground in the second round by landing a perfect knee to the chin.

The first round was contested standing with Randleman landing a few leg kicks while Gracie used jabs and straights to score a little damage. The round was close but probably slightly favored Gracie. In the second Randleman allowed Gracie to tie him up where he landed the knee that put Randleman down. From there Gracie pounced, moved from mount to back control and worked for the eventual rear naked choke.
The win improved Gracie to 3-0 in his career. He still shows many holes in his stand-up game and it will mean trouble against some higher level fighters, but for now he has picked up another win and represented the Gracie name well.
