Probable Kansas Starting DT Jamal Greene Dismissed Following Robbery Arrest

Vernon Brooks was kicked out of the Kansas football program in March for violating team rules. He’s in a bit more hot water this time, and this time one of his teammates is along for the ride:

Kansas defensive tackle Jamal Greene was dismissed from the team on Friday after his arrest in connection with an attempted aggravated robbery.
[...]
Greene, 22, and former Kansas football player Vernon Brooks, 23, were arrested early Friday.
Greene was a starter on the line, for the bulk of the 2009 season, and touted in the offseason for his work in the training room. Aside from being obviously bad news in and of itself, this blow comes at a delicate time for the Jayhawks, as our boys at Rock Chalk Talk are wondering who’s going to fill the leadership void on the field.
