Thierry Henry has not completely denied that he has a deal in place with Major League Soccer’s Red Bull New York, but the Barcelona attacker has downplayed the notion that his move to the United States is inevitable.

At the moment, nothing is certain, I’m a Barcelona player and I have a year left on my contract. Right now, my only worry is preparing for the World Cup with France. I will have time afterwards to reflect on my future.”
On Monday, France trimmed their World Cup squad from 30 to 24 players, with Henry in the team as captain of Les Blues.
