Preview: Live Chat With Rick Hendrick At 12:30 p.m. On May 19th
Hendrick Motorsports team owner Rick Hendrick has won nine Cup titles and six Daytona 500s, achieving a lot of “firsts” along the way.
On Wednesday, he’ll have another one: Hendrick will become the first-ever NASCAR team owner to participate in a live online video chat with fans.
Hendrick’s appearance is part of the AmpUpThe88.com weekly chat, in which fans submit questions and have the opportunity to have them answered by the weekly special guest.
Past guests have included Dale Earnhardt Jr. and crew chief Lance McGrew, among others.
(As a side note, it’s worth noting that the site also has daily sweeps for an autographed Earnhardt Jr. item and features a special video interview as part of the “Off The Track” series. The Amp site is basically a must-check for Junior Nation each week).
Obviously, it will be interesting to hear what Hendrick has to say about the No. 88 team after a tough week at Dover. You can submit as many questions as you like, and certain questions will be selected and passed on to the host for Hendrick to answer.
If you’re not sure how it works, there’s a complete archive of all the past video chats here.
Our inside tip is to log in early for the chat (click here to access the page) and ask questions before it starts in order to have a better shot at getting them answered.
The chat begins at 12:30 p.m. Eastern and is live. It is expected to last approximately 30 minutes.
